40" x 30" framed in a white oak frame. The frame adds 1 inch all around.

What’s that in the center? It’s vintage parchment from London 1825 (quick math: it’s almost 200 years old!), complete with a wax seal. My paintings are all about memory and capturing time and favorite places. By combining the old with the new, you get the best of both worlds, bringing a sense of nostalgia to the modern abstract painting. The greens and blues of this piece represent a lush landscape, with my signature marks providing movement and tic marks for the passing of time.

Timeless yet fresh. This piece works in any aesthetic.

Details:

This original painting is a 40” height x 30” width x 1.5” depth mixed oil media (oil paint and pastel and vintage parchment) on stretched canvas. It is framed in a white oak floater frame which adds an extra inch all around.

  • It is painted on the sides (i.e., gallery wrapped) for a finished look without the frame.
  • For authentication, it is signed and dated on the back.
